The benefits of starting your day with the below shake recipe is that when you begin on such an healthy choice it will be easier to go through the day, followed by further smart food decisions.  Plus the protein in the shake will keep you fuller longer and your blood sugar will be more stable. Thus it being a really smart way to begin your day.  Implement this new daily habit, and sure enough, you will both see and feel the transformation.

2 serving sizes (spoons) of vegan protein powder
200 ml coconut water, organic and unsweetened
50 ml water
A few icecubes
1 tsp. cinnamon
A handful of berries

I suggest adding a handful of berries to your shake depending of what you have in the fridge.  Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries etc. are all good for you.  Berries are full of antioxidants which are substances that fight free radicals in the body that can lead to accelerated aging of body cells, change DNA and weaken brain cells to name a few.  Berries are also thought to help fight heart disease and cancer, clean the lymphatic drainage system and get rid of toxins.  Benefits are plentiful and we should absolutely try adding berries to our daily diet.
